Sourcing
We build every article from primary and traceable material: government and regulatory documents, company disclosures and financial filings, hospital and university statements, and reporting from established Chinese and international outlets.
- Attribution. Statistics are attributed to the disclosing body. Company-disclosed figures are identified as such; third-party estimates are labelled as estimates.
- Dates. We attach dates to milestones because AI claims decay quickly. A figure without a date is treated as unusable.
- Corroboration. Where a number is material to an article's conclusion, we look for a second source. Where we cannot corroborate, we say so.
- Distinguishing claim types. Vendor performance comparisons are marked as vendor-claimed when they are not independently verified.
Scope
We cover brain–computer interfaces, robotics and embodied intelligence, foundation models, AI silicon and compute, generative media, applied AI, policy and governance, capital and markets, and the people building the field.
What we do not do
- We do not publish investment advice. Market and financial coverage is informational.
- We do not publish medical guidance. Clinical content describes ongoing research.
- We do not accept payment for coverage. There is no sponsored editorial on this site.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected in place as soon as we verify them. If you believe something on this site is wrong, contact us with the source you are relying on and we will check it.
Machine readability
We publish a machine-readable site brief at /llms.txt and a plain-Markdown version of every article — append .md to any article URL. This is deliberate: we would rather be quoted accurately than visited accidentally.
